Yesterday saw another celebrity edition of Podcast And Chill with Mac and as usual, it was nothing short of drama. The guests were Amapiano vocalists Boohle and Njelic.
Speaking to Boohle, Mac G implied that Cassper did not make a lot of contribution to the Siyathandana. “He didn’t write anything on that song? He only came with his verse. I wasn’t even there.” Added Boohle.
Mac G further added that Cassper’s contribution was not needed on the track.
“And let’s be honest, if you listen to that song – it sounds like Boohle featuring Cassper. Like that verse was not needed, let’s be honest.” He said.
Cassper saw a snippet of the interview on social media and expressed his disappointment. Despite all of this, Mufasa says that he has got nothing but love for Boohle.
“This is so disappointing and I’ve watched it a few times. I won’t even explain anything about how this song was written but I got so much love for Boohle man. One of the most gentle of souls I’ve met and we made magic together. May God bless her, May she make many more hits.” He tweeted.
Boohle’s comment comes as a surprise to many as we all thought that everything was going well between her and Mufasa as they brought us one of the biggest records in the country.
Some tweeps have also taken to social media to slam Mac G for his interview style. He’s been called out for putting the songstress on the spot so that he can improve ratings for his podcast.
We doubt that Nyovest will be deeply affected by this as his career has been on an upward trajectory for the longest of time. He recently launched his alcoholic drink. Teasing the news for the official announcement, the rapper said that it is the biggest project of his career.
“It is so big I can’t even believe that it is happening. All the hard work has finally come to pay for me and I want you to celebrate with me as I launch one of the biggest projects of my career. Bona ntjaka re kene, re dula mo bone, ase nnete. It is so big and I can’t even believe that it’s happening. Make sure you check out my timeline. As I launch one of the biggest projects of my career.” Said Cassper in part.
The first time he introduced the idea of launching a liquor brand was during an interview on The Venom and Banques show. He described the beverage as a taste of wealth.
