Royal AM players refuse to train in protest of non-payment of salary

Royal AM players are reported to have refused training early morning today, because they have not been paid their salaries.

Over 15 players out of 62 players who are currently active in the team are said to have not received their salary for over a period of time now.

Sadly, some of the players have have only received half salaries making things very difficult for the players.

According to the report, Royal Am promised players and coaches apartments, but they were given nothing close to all of that.

Players laments that families they left in Bloemfontein can not join them.

Their condition is very pitiable as four players are forced to share one room at the clubhouse in Pietermaritzburg.

Coaches are not left out from this ugly experience as they also share room with players.

We learnt that the owner of the club, Shauwn Mkhize will be having a meeting with the players and coaches today in Durban to sort out things

Many football fans have gone to social media to register their opinion on this issue.
Some have blamed the management of the club for not having enough plan before embarking on this journey, while some make excuses for having too much players.
