The 6 men have been charged with the murder of Gauteng Department of health official Babita Deokaran have appeared in the Johannesburg Magistrates Court on murder charges.
This is coming after the suspects had watched her home for weeks in the neighbours even had pictures of their vehicle in their camera systems.
This means that the suspects have been watching very closely preparing for the day that they would pounce and attack her while she was at home.
This is known to be a tactic that assassins or criminals use to figure out the routines of their victims, so that it will be easy for them to just attack they do this when they are looking at robbing cash in transit vans.
After having watched her for weeks they finally attacked and killed her after firing several shots inside her vehicle where she was sitting in the front seat – killing her instantly, when the paramedics were called they discovered that they couldn’t help her.
Police did investigations following up on the camera images that had linked the suspects to a premises.

In order of appearance, are: Phakamani Hadebe; ZithaHadebe; Nhlangano Ndlovu; Sanele Mbele; Siphiwe Mazibuko and Phakanyiswe Dladla.
Phindi Mjonondwane, regional communication manager for the National Prosecuting Authority, explained that the suspects are also charged with attempted murder because, according to the docket, Deokaran was with another person in the vehicle during the incident.
They discovered that the vehicle which they were following belonged to a South African Defence Force Member, however it did not reveal any more information about exactly who the officer was.
The suspects are reported to have confessed everything about the assassination and right now their only concern is to reveal who is the mastermind behind the attack, the ANC official was murdered for her involvement in their exposition of corruption.
She had reportedly investigated the PPE corruption that was happening in the South African National Defence Force, her murder is something that has broken the hearts of many people because it just shows that those who expose corruption and those who are good are cast aside and corruption seems to always win at the expense of ordinary citizens and those who do not indulge in such activities
