Blxckie has confirmed the imminent release of his B4Now (Deluxe) album, through the release of the lead single, Joy, featuring Oxlade.

Blxckie took to Instagram on Friday, 6 August 2021, to confirm the release of his new single, Joy, featuring Oxlade.

The musician went on to delete all his posts which documented the promotional rollout of B4Now, the original album.

The aim was to physically mark the beginning of a new music era, as he continues to promote the imminent release of B4Now (Deluxe).

Sharing the news of the release on his Instagram page, Blxckie stated, “At long last. 

B4NOWDLX will be ready for y’all to enjoy on the 13th (August 2021) with 8 new songs added to the original tracklist.

I appreciate everyone that’s following my story and listening to izingoma zami (my songs), y’all really changing impilo yami (my life) for the better. There’s still so much i want to say, there’s still so much I want to do… all for you.”

The single’s sound is unlike his most recent releases, as the promotional statement highlighted, “Blxckie, also widely known as Somnyama, adds to his versatile repertoire by creating this Trap Soul and AfroBeats fused love song, Joy with Nigeria’s Oxlade produced by duo London Rhodes.”
