Forbes Africa 30 Under 30: Thabo Moloi has becomes the youngest ever Recipient

Red Bull’s pioneering Esports athlete Thabo Moloi was announced as one of FORBES AFRICA’s Top 30 under 30 list for 2021 and at only 19 years old, makes him the youngest ever recipient.

Moloi and fellow Goliath Gaming teammate Julio Bianchi are the first Esports recipients to achieve this accolade.

This is the first time Esports has featured on Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 list and the youngster counts himself as one of the first recipients from the gaming world.

“I can’t describe what this means to me. It’s a huge deal and an absolute honour to be inducted as one of the people in the Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 Class of 2021, alongside my brother, Julio Bianchi”

Enrolling at a university at only 14 years old posed a unique challenge for him as he struggled to fit into an institution where there were older people around him. However, he learnt to cope with the environment on campus.
