It was a sad day in South Africa and beyond as we mourn the death of AKA’s fiancee, Neille Tembe who was snatched by the cold hands of death through strange circumstance.
According to the report, Police are on Sunday morning investigating the mystery behind the death of 22-year-old Nelli Tembe, the fiancée of well-known musician AKA, at the five-star Pepperclub Hotel in central Cape Town.
AKA’s manager, Phumza Nohashe, confirmed the death and said the Forbes and Tembe families would release a statement soon.
Witnesses at the scene described hearing shouting and a “loud doof” sound, and said they had heard a man calling security and crying.
Western Cape SA Police Service media liaison Capt FC van Wyk said crime-scene experts were at the hotel, looking for .
“Cape Town Central police are investigating an inquest case after an incident at a hotel this morning at about 7.45am on the corners of Loop and Bloem streets, Cape Town CBD, where the body of a 22-year-old woman was found deceased,” the police said in a statement.
A lot of people have described it as suicidal action while some claimed that it was an accident.
The rapper’s management is not at liberty to share any further details and have requested that we give the family time to deal with the shock.
It is largely uncertain the actual cause of her death, but what is certain is Neille’s suicidal tendency which manifested on the 22nd of December, 2020, where it was reported that cops rescued a lady who attempted suicide at the top roof in one of the 5-star popular hotels in Durban.
According to the report, police rescued her after she attempted to jump from the top of a hotel in Durban on Friday morning.
Metro police spokesperson Senior Superintendent Parbhoo Sewpersadh, explained that it is believed the woman had been a guest at the Hilton Hotel in the Durban CBD.
Pictures of the woman seated on the roof and one of her standing on the ledge went viral on social media. It was confirmed that it was Neille Tembe.
What could be the reason behind her demise is unknown, but her mental health was definitely not alright.

AKA is said to be surrounded by his close friends and family and is not taking the death of his fiancée well. The beautiful couple hogged headlines recently after AKA paid lobola two weeks ago.
