Fikile Mbalula, a prominent member of the African National Congress (ANC), held a press conference in which he appeared to criticize Jacob Zuma, South Africa’s former president, and some members of the South African National Civic Organisation. (SANCO). Mbalula is dissatisfied with Zuma’s position as SANCO’s Kwa-Zulu Natal provincial chairperson. According to Mbalula, Zuma would not be missed if he eventually decides to leave the ANC.
Meanwhile, It also seems as if Mbalula was talking about Carl Niehaus, who left the ANC to start his own political party. Niehaus was one of the people who joined the Economic Freedom Fighters’ (EFF) national shutdown.
According to Mbalula, the ANC is not surprised by the departure of some of its members who are anarchists, including some prominent members of SANCO. It’s clear that Mbalula has a problem with Jacob Zuma who is now getting support from the SANCO members in the Kwa-Zulu Natal province.SANCO members were in court to support Zuma, and his foundation is grateful for the support.
If care is not taken, Jacob Zuma might bounce back and take over KwaZulu-Natal politics, and this will really be a big blow if he eventually leaves the ANC for another party.Mzansi, do you think Jacob Zuma is strong enough to dump the ANC?
