Fikile Mbalula, secretary general of the African National Congress (ANC), led a large group of ANC members and supporters to the streets of Pretoria yesterday afternoon (Friday 17 March), during their “Buya Tswane People’s March,” and during the march, Fikile Mbalula took to his official Twitter account to post a video of one of the ANC leaders addressing the group of ANC members and supporters in the streets of Pretoria.
However, a lot of people from Pretoria were not happy about the ANC leaders addressing them with the Xhosa language, and a lot of them took to social media site Twitter to express their outrage after the ANC leaders addressed them using the Xhosa language, just look at how some people from Pretoria responded to the ANC leader using the Xhosa language to address them.
“You can’t come to Pretoria and address us in Xhosa, O bolela le bo mang kgante?? 🙄😮””I’m disappointed to those bystanders listening to this nonsense in that heat.”
