The opening of the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature by the Zulu King Misuzulu kaZwelithini on Thursday will enable Premier Nomusa Dube-State Ncube’s of the Province Address (Sopa), slated for Friday, to proceed.

King MisuZulu was spotted entering the event with a beautiful mystery woman. IOL journalist, Sihle Mavuso, posted the pictures on his Twitter account. He left this caption on the tweet, “PHOTOS: King Misuzulu KaZwelithini has finally arrived to open the KwaZulu-Natal legislature to start its 2023 business. @IOL”

The Zulu monarch will be addressing the KZN Provincial Legislature for the first time since ascending to the throne last year following the passing of his father, King Goodwill Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu, in 2021. King Misuzulu kaZwelithini was unable to speak to MPLs at the commencement of the legislature last year because he had not yet received his official crown, despite being legally appointed in 2021 in accordance with Zulu royal family tradition.
