The housemates were reminded this week that there are regulations to go by in addition to tasks. After repeatedly breaking Biggie’s rules, such as communicating in code, the housemates received a reminder and further punishments.
Although communication is essential in the home, whether it be for cleaning or cooking, Biggie’s rules must still be followed. Hence, Biggie came up with another plan and dropped a bombshell inside the house: he cut off all communication between the men and the women. Discuss separation phobia.
With silence between the sexes reigning supreme, housemates spent their morning singing and dancing … and avoiding each other.
Housemates are finding it difficult to abide by the rules of the new challenge, but they are determined. There’s a lot at stake – like not being able to take part in the next Head of House challenge. This must be making things a little easier for Thabang and Nana. They are already Head of House and can’t partake in Monday’s challenge. Unless Biggie throws another twist our way! But they may have a reason to stress yet, because who knows what else Biggie has up his sleeve if they break the silence rule.
The housemates who are probably having a really difficult time of it, are those involved in ships. All they can do now is gaze longingly at their significant other … but can they do even that? Looking is a form of communication. Let’s hope Biggie doesn’t notice, because these poor souls must be struggling without all the cuddles and pillow talk.
Does that mean that if someone breaks the rules, it’s inevitably going to be someone in a ship? Khosi or Yemi or Juicy Jay or Yvonne or Blue Aiva? Not necessarily. Because while it may be difficult staying away from bae, food wars make it just as difficult to keep quiet. And Miracle OP is tempting fate by hiding eggs. Does that mean Miracle will crack first – perhaps by giggling about the eggs – or will it be the person looking for the eggs?Miracle is not just hiding eggs for the sake of it.
The men are on a mission to get the women to break the silence rule. Justin also tried to provoke them by splashing Tsatsii with his wet hair. What we can’t help wondering is: if the women are provoked and break the silence who will be punished, the men or the women? Provoking is a form of communication. It’s like the boy who secretly crushed on you in school pulling your hair to get your attention. But in Biggie’s house, There’s just no way of knowing what’s going to happen and just thinking about this twist is getting us all twisted up. Here are some of your thoughts on the twist.
This has surely been the toughest challenge the housemates have received. How will it all play out? When will the twist end? Keep watching the house and sharing your thoughts.
