President Ramaphosa Vows to Decrease Load Shedding to Lowest Levels

In a speech at the ANC NEC Lekgotla in Esselen Park, east of Johannesburg, President Cyril Ramaphosa announced that the country’s objective is to decrease load shedding to the lowest possible levels. He emphasized the importance of addressing the energy crisis in South Africa and the impact it has on the economy and citizens.

“We are fully aware of the impact that load shedding has on our economy and the daily lives of our citizens. It is unacceptable and we are committed to finding solutions to this problem,” President Ramaphosa said.

The President acknowledged that the energy crisis has been caused by a number of factors, including a lack of investment in new power generation and the aging infrastructure of the state-owned power utility, Eskom. He emphasized that the government is working on a number of measures to address the issue, including the implementation of independent power producers and the use of renewable energy sources.

“We are working on a number of measures to address the energy crisis, including the implementation of independent power producers and the use of renewable energy sources. We are also working to improve the efficiency of Eskom and addressing the issue of aging infrastructure,” the President said.

He also highlighted the importance of public-private partnership in addressing the energy crisis, saying that the government is open to working with private sector investors to find solutions.

President Ramaphosa’s announcement was met with a positive response from members of the ANC and the public, who hope that this will bring a much-needed solution to the energy crisis in South Africa. The President’s commitment to addressing the energy crisis is a step in the right direction, and the public is eager to see the concrete actions that will be taken to decrease load shedding to the lowest possible levels.
