One of the most contentious politicians in South Africa is Tony Yengeni. He was once found guilty of fraud and is well known for his corruption. It appears that people will still not let him be even after he has served his sentence. On Monday, Tony Yengeni shared a photo of himself at a golf course getting ready to play. He received a lot of criticism for it, while some individuals did not take this well. One individual remarked to Tony: “That’s a school boy mentality, you pride yourself by spending big on corruption money, you should be ashamed of yourself to even call yourself a revolutionary, you are a disgrace to be called an elder in the society, you are always talking trash about poor people, you are too old.
Many other people commented and their comments were not kind. Tiny Yengeni however quickly hit back at the commented and said that he will not apologize for enjoying golf on a Monday. People however still didn’t give up as another person commented and restructured his comment. ” Translation: I offer no apology for looting so much so that I’m now able to play golf on a Monday morning while the very same people who I looted from who voted for me to be in a position to be able to loot struggle to make ends meet”.
People should allow Tony to be as he is also human and what happened in the past does not necessarily mean that he is still the same person.
