Floyd is criticized for saying, “Deal with Orania first,” in reference to Morocco.

The EFF is known for controversy and calling out other people and countries for things that they believe are wrong. However, not everyone can take it and appreciate what the EFF is doing. Floyd Shivambu has experienced the backlash recently. Floyd Shivambu got some backlash after commenting on the issue of Morocco allegedly illegally colonizing West Sahara.

He said ” Morocco’s arrogance is unacceptable! The occupation of the Saharawi Republic must be condemned & no amount of insults should change that. Western Sahara deserves the long overdue self determination and will only forego its sovereignty in favour of Pan Africanism not colonialism”. This happens after Mandla Mandela was told that the only colony in Africa is Orania after he tried calling out Morocco for making West Sahara its colony.

Floyd Shivambu, the Deputy President of the EFF obviously shares the same sentiments as Mandela, unfortunately, him trying to comment on the issue also didn’t spare him as he was told to deal with Orania first as well. People commented and bashed Floyd. People had this to say: ” Unacceptable? What are you going to do about it ? Come and take the Sahara then instead of barking around. You ain’t even in the position of doing something.

Focus on your own problems before interfering in domestic affairs of other countries”” Deal with Orania first what Morocco is telling you and Mandla Mandela is to first deal with your domestic affairs before going abroad”.” A corrupt state divided under a volcano of racism, separation and hatred. We will not allow it to offer advice to Morocco.

Historical states and regions have existed since ancient times and know their interests well. We are not the creation of the colonizer to inherit its borders”. In my opinion, the EFF and Floyd should focus on getting more votes for their party and stop interfering in other countries affairs. What do you think of this issue?
