Manchester United have exacted revenge on their neighbours by coming from behind to win a thrilling Manchester derby on Sunday 2-1.Jack Grealish had given Manchester City the lead in the second half and Pep Guardiol’s side appeared to be in cruise control as the minutes ticked on.
But then a huge slice of luck went United’s way after a controversial equaliser was allowed to stand after Marcus Rashford was adjudged not to be interfering in play from an off-side position before Bruno Fernandes swept home.
The goal rattled City and four minutes later United completed the comeback when Rashford poked home after great work from Alejandro Garnacho as he turned Nathan Ake and put the ball on a plate. The win sees Erik ten Hag’s team move within a point of the Blues and very much puts them in the Premier League title race.
