The ease of alcohol sell excites Mzansi as President Ramaphosa announced the relaxation of the alcohol ban in the country.
Recall that the President had placed a strict ban on the sale of alcohol during the lockdown to minimise violence and recklessness among the people.
He, however, warned that individuals should be very responsible and only those with a license are permitted to operate from Monday to Thursday starting from 10 am to 6 pm.
Restrictions on the sale of alcohol will be eased. The sale of alcohol by licensed premises for off-site consumption will be permitted from Mondays to Thursdays, from 10 am to 6 pm.
Duty-free shops, registered wineries, wine farms, micro-breweries and micro-distilleries will be able to sell alcohol for off-site consumption during their normal licensed operating hours.
