Businessman and AmaZulu FC boss Sandile Zungu will tomorrow announce his intentions to run for KwaZulu-Natal ANC top post, in the upcoming provincial conference this weekend.

Early this year, Zungu said he would no longer be contesting but it seems things have changed.

Sandile Zungu and MEC Nomusa Dube-Ncube, who are both angling to oust Sihle Zikalala as ANC KZN chairperson next week, are fishing from the same pond (the RET Forces pond).

Hence, unless they merge their fragile slates, Zikalala will beat them hands down.

The visit of businessman Sandile Zungu to the Inkosi of the Zungu clan in Ulundi today. Zungu who is contesting for the position of ANC KZN provincial chairperson, has another political engagement in the same municipality later today.

AmaZulu FC boss Sandile Zungu and his colleague Vusi Mvelasi have reportedly revealed that they have been politically targeted by individuals who have been attempting to seduce them using girls offering sex.

Zungu is set to contest for chair position in the provincial elective conference this month. Among other contestants in the race are current Premier Sihle Zikalala, Finance MEC Nomusa Dube-Ncube and Secretary of KZN ANC Mdumiseni Ntuli.

The former Amazulu FC Boss,  the club’s President, Mr. Sandile Zungu is currently married to Mrs. Nozipho KaMagubane Zungu.
