Mamelodi Sundowns’s Namibian prolific striker pens a new contract

Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed that star striker Peter Shalulile has signed a new five-year deal. The Namibian international led the Brazilians to yet another league title and also played a role in the side’s MTN8 and Nedbank Cup success.

Shalulile finished the 2021/2022 campaign with 30 goals in all competitions and became the first player in the South African top flight to score 20 league goals since Siyabonga Nomvethe in 2012.

His great player I believe he should be representing his trade in Europe! I think he can be one of African greatest players if he goes to Europe at sundowns he will be wasting his talent there.

5yrs is too long at his age he should have gone for a one year or at worst a 2 year extension to keep his options open, in case a European offer came along, big teams don’t like to release key players in the psl. But if he wants to finish his career in the psl then good for him.

It is even more shaming even if he stays for 10 more years he won’t be break any Collins Mbesuma or record set by Chiefs players. He will lose form, then be loaned out, then brought back to sit on the stands until he asks to be released
