Woman dies while lodging in a hotel with her brother in-law

A WOMAN who was booked into a hotel with her brother-in-law died this morning without knowing that things would go awry. The 56-year-old woman was found by Reaction Unit South Africa at noon today at a hotel in Wick Street where she and the 50-year-old man were present.

The self-sacrificing man called the Reaction Unit South Africa unit to come and help him when he saw that she seemed to be lifeless.

 

The problem started when the woman complained of nausea and vomiting. The Reaction Unit South Africa, which first arrived at the scene, chose to withhold more information to protect the two. Investigations into the woman’s death are ongoing to determine the cause of her death.

KwaZulu-Natal police spokesman Captain Nqobile Gwala said no case had been opened as the victim had died of natural causes.

He explained that in such a case no case would be opened if a person died naturally, the family would be the ones to explain the matter
