In recent weeks, Cassper Nyovest has been very vocal about his apparent love for Amapiano and how his love for Hip-hop has begun to dwindle.
The rapper has been a mainstay in SA Hip-hop for over a decade but it appears that Amapiano has finally snatched him away.
Over the weekend Cassper Nyovest was in Tanzania where he performed alongside some of Amapiano’s biggest names like Vigro Deep, Mr JazziQ and of course fellow rapper Focalistic.
Cassper who also made a splash with his performance was very impressed with what they all did in Tanzania and he confessed that Amapiano has the chance to dominate Africa in a way that SA Hip-Hop should have but could not.

He attributed the failure of SA Hip-Hop to dominate to Envy, bitterness and hatred among SA Hip-hop artists.

The comment section was filled with all kinds of opinions, while some agreed with Cassper, there were those who also accused him of being part of the rot in the Hip-Hop industry.
