Zola 7 is R1 million richer as Shauwn Mkhize donates to him after being dragged

Royal AM owner Shauwn ‘MaMkhize’ Mkhize has donated R1 million to help Zola 7 in his illness.

Mkhize pledged the six-figure amount on Thursday (10 March) when she met up with the star.

Socialite and business mogul MaMkhize made headlines last week when she met up with legendary musician Zola 7, shared a video of him in one of her Bentley, and donated R1 million through her Royal AM football club.

This news came out after she was dragged online for not really helping Zola 7 financially, but instead letting him grovel at her feet on social media.

Two sources informed a local publication that Mkhize pledged to donate R1 million when she met with Zola and her son, Royal AM chairperson Andile Mpisane.

She also trended on social media when she made Zola’s long-term dream of driving a Bentley a reality by letting him drive her blue Bently.

She will transfer the funds to the FNB business account which was provided by Dlamini’s team on Facebook this week.

“Through Royal AM FC, they said they will wire R1 million into the account.”

“The transfer was set to be done on Friday or Saturday morning.”

“It was discussed on Thursday when they met with him.”

“The pledge is through her soccer club, which is obviously hers, but officially the donation comes from Royal AM,” the source said.
