As far as cases of gender-based violence are concerned, we are still in the midst of a very troubling and tragic situation here in South Africa.
Several instances of gender-based violence are posted on social media sites on a daily basis, and we are made aware of them through news reports.
The administration must come up with fresh techniques to coping with these challenges on a regular basis. Without action, women and children would continue to perish at the hands of men, as they are currently doing during the interim period.
As a nation, we must endeavour to ensure that women and children are never separated from their families at any point in time; this is an issue for which we must always fight.
Yet another incidence of a male lover or husband murdering a female companion has been reported in the community of Xithlelani, which is located outside Malamulele. After a lengthy period of time in which individuals have fought to put an end to incidents of Gender Based Violence, this is a discouraging development.
There’s a good chance that many of the South Africans who are working hard to put an end to racial derived based violence aren’t doing it correctly in any way, even if they were doing things correctly in the first place. Even in the best of circumstances, we were not expected to be in the position we find ourselves in today. There is absolutely no way, shape, or form.
Males in South Africa, I feel, must also be educated on how to coexist peacefully with women in all economic situations, including poverty. Their confidence in their own abilities must never be bolstered to the point where they begin to exert control over the ladies with whom they are living or who live with them on a regular basis. At the same time, it is vital to live properly with and handle material possessions at all times.
The government must also put in place solid processes to deal with cases of gender-based violence in order to be effective. When it comes to crime, one of the most horrible things that people usually say is that culprits do not stay and instead serve extended prison sentences, which is difficult for them.
