Makhadzi has amassed a huge following in such a short space of time and her followers are people from different backgrounds and who support different political parties and her showing which party sh is aligned to as got her into trouble.

Fans are of the illusion that just because one is a celebrity they do not have any other interest apart from what they are famous for, which is not the case and many at times celebrities have lost their careers because fans did not share in their interests.

The recently dubbed African Queen was invited to an ANC rally and decided to wear a knitted ANC regalia and posted her pics on Twitter and captioned them captioned “Hounouring the President’s invite”.

That did not sit down well with a lot of her fans who were disappointed by what she had done, saying how could she support a political party that is responsible for the high youth unemployment in the country. Because of this, many people have vowed to unfollow her and this might be a problem for her as it might escalate.

Her political affiliation has landed her in hot soup, as people feel sh should just stick to singing and entertaining, not rallying behind a party they do not like.
