Kaizer Chiefs & Orlando Pirates stars join hands to feed the hungry

Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates put their rivalry aside this morning for a good cause, both rivals join hands to feed the hungry.

Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, both sponsored by Vodacom, took to the Soweto Cricket oval to handout food aid worth over R335 000 to needy people in Soweto courtesy of an iniative by Vodacom.

For every goal scored by the Soweto giants this season, R5 000 was donated towards the meaningful cause by the telecommunications giants.

The Amakhosi and the Buccaneers both suffered rather inconsistent seasons filled with incredible highs and equal lows however the heart warming experience suggested at the end of the day, there is more to life than soccer.
