Have South Africans Forgiven Burna Boy With Jerusalema remix by Master KG and Nomcebo?

Master KG dropped Jerusalema remix on what would be arguably one of the biggest collaborations in African in recent times with Nomcebo Zikode featuring the self-acclaimed African Giant Burna Boy.

Master KG dominated Nigeria’s airwaves with hit like ‘Skeleton Move’ ft Zanda Zakuza and ‘Jerusalema‘ ft Nomcebo.

Master KG’s ‘Skeleton Move’ was a huge sound in was released in December 2019, as Nigerians thought the WANE TWAMOS is Bode Thomas.

Has Burna Boy found his way back into the heart of South Africans with his soothing and melodious voice on Master KG, Jerusalema remix?

The song is currently blazing on airwaves in South Africa and Nigeria.

One thing that is fascinating in the song is how he was able to sing in the Zulu language and fast switch to Nigerian language Yoruba effortlessly.

Can we say, he has totally been forgiven?

Recall that Burna Boy was canceled here in South Africa in 2019 during the horrible xenophobic attack on Nigerians and other Africans living in SA.

He publicly threatened to beat up celebrated SA rapper, AKA, and sworn to never ever going to step his feet in South Africa.

Well, it appears some of the music fans from south Africa have forgiven him, and in joyous mood with the track.

Master KG appreciated Burna Boy and called him ”Humble And Easy Person To Work With” and Giving the project a chance within 24hrs.

Meanwhile, some South Africans led by Lerato the activist championing Put South African First campaign. A conservative movement that is focused on placing the interest of South Africans ahead of any other thing.

They are not having any of that, with the hashtag #JerusalemaRemixMustFall against the collaboration.
